Training Policy - English Coach
Definition of a Student
A person will be considered a student of English Coach (“the Company”) if they have received confirmation of their enrollment in a course from the selection of courses offered by the Company and have paid the required tuition fees, and have not yet completed their course obligations as confirmed by the Company.
Student Behavior
English Coach aims to create a pleasant and effective learning environment, which can only be maintained with the cooperation of the students. To achieve this goal, please adhere to the following rules:
Dress Code – Please arrive at the training center and English Coach classes in appropriate and respectful attire.
Sexual Harassment
On September 20, 1998, the Law for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment came into effect. The purpose of the law is to prohibit sexual harassment to protect a person's dignity, freedom, and privacy, and to promote equality between genders. The law states that sexual harassment and sexual discrimination are prohibited acts. In addition to being grounds for civil lawsuits under the law, they are also criminal acts and grounds for tort claims. This law applies to all of us, and we require all employees and students to act in accordance with the law and its spirit. Some of these measures include publishing regulations formulated by the law to clarify the main provisions of the law and its regulations, appointing a responsible person to handle complaints, conducting awareness actions, and providing copies of the law and its regulations to any student who wishes to receive them. The responsible person at English Coach is the acting manager.
Behavioral Rules for Remote Learning
Classes conducted as part of the course via remote learning technology are an integral part of the course program. In addition to what is stated in this policy, the remote learning technique requires students to follow these rules:
- Participation is personal and non-transferable, including participation permissions.
- The responsibility for connecting and participating in the lessons lies with the student.
- Maintaining appropriate behavior during the broadcast, including using chat for learning purposes.

Cancellation of Enrollment and Freezing Studies
We strive to provide every learner with the best learning experience and the highest value, and we are happy to assist you in planning and to be at your service. Since the learning is conducted in small groups with a limited number of participants, cancellation or postponement of participation without prior notice and coordination incurs costs. To provide you with the best service, please notify us of any changes as early as possible.
Cancellation of Enrollment More Than 14 Days Before the Course Begins – A candidate who is registered for a course and wishes to cancel their enrollment must notify us at least 14 working days (excluding holidays) before the start date of the course. The college recommends and requests that cancellation notices be submitted in writing to the email address: theenglishcoach.il@gmail.com. When submitting a cancellation notice, please include the student's name, ID number, and the date they signed the enrollment agreement. A candidate who cancels their enrollment within the aforementioned time frame will be entitled to a refund of the tuition fee for the course, minus a processing fee of 5% of the course price or 100 NIS, whichever is lower. These conditions are in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Regulations (Transaction Cancellation) 5770-2010. For the avoidance of doubt, the start date of the course is the day on which the first lesson for the course is held, including a preparatory lesson, introductory lesson, or orientation meeting, whether the student attended the meeting or not.
Cancellation of Enrollment Close to the Start of the Course – A registrant wishing to cancel their participation in the course shortly before its start (0 to 14 days from the start date) is invited to contact English Coach's offices. In such cases, the company may charge higher cancellation fees, depending on the timing of the cancellation and the cost of participation.
Freezing Enrollment Before the Course Starts – A student who is registered and, for reasons not related to English Coach, chooses to "freeze" the course may do so under the following conditions:
- The student has received written approval from English Coach's offices.
- The student understands that returning to the course depends on coordination with English Coach and that if the cost of the course increases between the date of the transaction and the date of implementation, they may be required to complete the payment.
Freezing Enrollment During the Course – We at English Coach are prepared to assist students even in exceptional situations. If you need to freeze your studies after the course has started, please contact an English Coach representative who will help you find a personal solution.
Refunds Upon Cancellation and/or Termination of Participation in the Course After It Has Begun
You may cancel your enrollment in the course after the fifth meeting for the relative cost of the meetings in which you participated.
The relative cost of each lesson for refund purposes will be determined according to English Coach's price list. Enrollment cannot be canceled starting from the date of the fifth meeting.
The count of meetings is based on the date of each meeting, whether the registrant participated or not.
Executive Courses
Executive courses are professional courses conducted in a "one-on-one" meeting format or in small groups. The uniqueness of these courses lies in tailoring the course flow to the learners, rather than following a fixed syllabus.
Changes/cancellations of scheduled meetings must be made at least two business days before the scheduled date.
Changes/cancellations within less than two business days will incur full or partial charges for the meeting.
Sincerely,
English Coach
